A special filming of the award-winning Italian film HUMAN CAPITAL (original title Il capitale umano), April 2nd, 6:45 pm, Summerfield Theater, reception / light refreshments 6:00-6:45 pm sponsored by NBICF – tickets $10. NBICF host available at theater at 6:00 pm for will-call and, if movie not sold out, tickets for purchase by cash or check. Human Capital will be showing at the Summerfield through April 9.
Winner not only of the prestigious Donatello award, Italy’s equivalent to the Oscar, but also of many other international awards. Human Capital delineates the modern rush to attain happiness through money and power. This electrifying murder mystery intertwines the destinies of several characters. It is a sharp socioeconomic critique but does not neglect to epitomize the humanity of the participants involved. Movie Rating: R
